In Retail if you buy another player's character's items, the bells should go directly into their bank account (according to Reese). I helped my brother sell his turnips for him in someone else's town, rather than drop 2M+ worth in bells I put some items up in his shop for 999,000 (I've read on other forums about other people doing this especially when buying expensive villagers like Diana). He came home checked his bank account and it was low, I had the item I bought from him and the bells were missing in my account. We did a trial run, he checked how much he had in the bank I bought an item for 54K and nothing went into his account. However, my 54K was gone and I had his item. Is the money he made from investing turnips gone or is it actually not a direct deposit and he'll have to wait for his bells? If someone could help us out, that'd be great.
