Question about a Nintendo letter I got top not wig

I signed in to a game hadn't been on in a while and it said limited time only, topknot wig that used to be only in Japanese version available through Nintendo direct. Dumb Question...my street pass is off so I don't pick up local voids but my spot pass should be on...what do I need to do to get this, just ask for a gift at the mail or do something on my ds I'm not signed into. I dropped my ds and the card ds came out, thank goodness no damage but just checking how I get this. All other gifts have been at mail center...is this different? I am not used to the non in game ds functions aside time and activity log and basics.

You need to go to a Nintendo Zone for this. Since you're in the US, I guess you could just head to a McDonalds, a Best Buy or a Fedex store (basically you're looking for a network with the name "attwifi"). Once you're there and within wireless range (you don't actually have to connect to the network, in my experience), load up your game and go the post office. Talk to Pelly/Phyllis and ask for a gift, and you'll get the topknot wig!

There's actually been several Japanese-only items that have been given out this way prior to the topknot wig: the ogre wig, and the blue and red ogre masks, off the top of my head. Hope this helps!

you have to go to a nintendo zone and then open up your game, go to the post office, and ask about a gift. i think that's how you get it, or someone on the trading boards can easily let you catalog it as it is reorder able
