Quesiton about asking Villager moving in!

I'm just wondering if anyone has gone through this or if I'm the only person who doesn't know what happened.

So in my town I had two villager slots opened.

Someone had offered to trade BlueBear for an item and I did the trade, and BlueBear agreed to join my town. That same day, someone had also offered Willow (another dreamy of mine) and I went to their town, and she also agreed to join my town. I was ecstatic to see that both of my dreamies were going to join my town!

The next day:
Willow plotted her spot.

Following day:
She moved in.

Following day:
Another plot was put down except, it wasn't BlueBear. It was the squirrel, Cally. I did the whole village placement thing to see if it was a mistake or something but no, Cally was set on moving in.

Because of Cally, my village is now full and I'm worried that BlueBear will not move in now. Is there a way that BlueBear might possibly move in? It's been a couple days after and one of my villagers moved out the other day and I'm currently down to 9. Any help/information would be much appreciated!

The first time, Willow overwrote Bluebear. I believe you can try to get her now though, if you have a free space. She won't be moving in without adopting her again unless you get extremely lucky, and pick her up through the void or campsite.

I've never expierienced this before.. Isn't the max villagers 10, though?

Oh dang... I didn't know about the "overwriting" thing. I talked to Cally a bit and she ended up coming from a town that I believed I streetpassed at one point. Could that also be a factor as to why BlueBear didn't get to move in? ;o;

Willow overwrote Bluebear, you'll just have to find Bluebear again and have her move in. Cally moving in had nothing to do with Bluebear not moving in.

Ahhh okay okay. Thank you! I've learned a valuable lesson..I'm sure I'll be able to find her again. 8)
