PWP's being bummed

My BF just started playing AC like Feb 2nd. Ive had my original copy since CHristmas and play daily. He already gets pwp for cool stuff like a hot springs, firepit, etc etc. I get the same ole ones like yield sign, cut out sign all of which I am not going to do cause they are ugly. I have done the flower arch, two or three street lights, three benches and finally got the light house...after he did of course but now Im back to the same cruddy stuff.
How can I get better pwp's? I am just not going to do any until something good comes up.
Should I start cycling and just get all new animals in my town maybe that would help.
Please if you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. I dont want to use my 30 pwps on the same stuff like bridges, fountains and lights without even getting choices of cute ones...

If you've only had your game till xmas, yeah you'll have to wait much longer, i've had mine since 2013 and i still need so many more of the good ones, but i have achieved a lot, firstly villagers do matter i mean the personality type, second play a lot, third i heard that villagers ask for PWP in a bunch then for a while they never request any so just be patient, finally there's a trick to increase the chance a villager will ask for PWP, you'll find it on youtube a guide by a youtuber called DazzaBound, or just google it

OK I appreciate that help..I also wondered if some of this pwp stuff isnt gender related. I'm a female and my bf is a boy..he tends to get the boy stuff like the firepit, the hot springs etc..cool stuff...and Im kinda wondering if my gender doesnt play a role...I feel that is totally unfair though since I am an outdoor camping hiking type person as much or more than he is. UGH

Firstly, no, I don't think the game is sexist. And I'd hardly call a yield sign feminine...
Secondly, you probably just need different villagers, look up online a list of the PWP's and they say which villager type gives you what PWP's! Personally I think the Uchi PWP's are the best! So try getting more of those type of villagers in, and youl have more chance of getting better PWP's! Also becoming better friends with specific personality villagers may help (not sure though)

Each personality has a different PWP also try using the diving trick to get more PWP you fill up your inventory full of flowers and dive into the ocean for about 5min what this does it resets their dialouge so you walk around town and have someone ping you it might be something stupid but eventually one of them will suggest a PWP
