PWP Farming Help

I'm in love with the wooden bridge, and I've been PWP farming for three hours just trying to get someone to suggest ANYTHING, let alone Hamphrey to suggest the bridge because he's my only cranky. I'm doing the diving trick, my pockets are full of flowers, and I'm getting a lot of pings, but the problem is that I'm not getting anything at all! No one wants to buy or sell or give me anything, but they always just ask me dumb questions like what kind of pet they should get or how I'm feeling. I haven't gotten a single PWP ping over the course of four or so hours. What am I doing wrong?

What you need to do is only farm from ONE villager. Trap them in with holes somewhere secluded. Make sure you pick a cranky, as they are the ones who suggest the wooden bridge. This works, trust me. Its totally random, but i usually get a PWP within 3-4 pings. If they don't ping you, just walk in front of a random villager/talk to them to refresh the dialogue, then go in the ocean again. Have you tried putting any PWP's down? Once I put PWPS down I find I get a lot more pings for PWPS, rather then if I didn't have any down. You can also try refreshing their dialogue? because if you haven't talked to them recently, they will say a certain piece of dialogue saying for you to take a break as you've been playing too long and usually they don't ping unless you talk to them and this dialogue is said. So it's good to make sure you talk to them often (after you've done the ping method each time.) Sometimes I struggle with it too, because sometimes none of my villagers will ping even when i've done everything absolutely right. Although sometimes you can get lucky and have them suggest without needing to do the ping method.

make sure you only have 2 bridges in your town.... if you have all 3 they never suggest bridges.... I've never had one in Riften for this reason

Sometimes it takes forever. Took me 3 hours to get a suggestion yesterday.
