PWP/Bridge advice?

Hiya! I'm ready to start developing my second town, but I have a major problem... I have a terrible sense of design XD

For my first town I just randomly added things, but I want to plan this town out more! I have no paths or pwps down aside from the campsite, so it's basically a blank slate. But like i said, I have no clue what to do ^^U

My three major questions are:

1) Where should I place my bridges? I'm keeping the one on the right, but I'll be replacing the one on the left eventually.
2) I want to put something in front of my house. Any ideas?
3) Where should I build my cafe? I kind of want it near the cliff/beach.

I'm open to any other suggestions as well! Thank you so much for reading- any help is very much appreciated <3

I was thinking about that, but I wasn't sure if the asymmetry would bug me or not XD But I'll probably end up putting it there anyways ^^

I meant the fact that my front door is one space and the bridge would be two spaces so they wouldn't line up. It's a weird hang up, I know ^^U

1) I think a bridge should be in front of your house so visitors don't have to come to your house from the back.
2) I think a long walkway leading up to the house lined with topiaries and fountains would look amazing. If you don't know what I mean visit the town of Rosellia - you can find the DA on Tumblr.
3) I have my cafe on the edge of a cliff and whilst it looks pretty the paths aren't great and I can't put bushes around it. I would say put it on a cliff but with enough space to put bushes and a path around it.

1. Maybe the bridge infront of your house? if not, then a bridge to the left of the house?
2. If you want a pwp infront of the house, maybe a fountain or well?
3. The top have is pretty busy to maybe someplace next to the little pond on the bottom half. Make it like the cafe has a pond and garden.

1. For the bridge I was thinking in that little 'crook' in front of town hall or in front of your house would look nice.
2. I'm not exactly sure how much space you have in front of your house I think a fountain would look really nice (like this: https://aforestlife.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/153.jpg?w=550)
3. I agree with PaperCat on this one. The upper part of town is quite busy so I think somewhere around the pond would look nice. You could do a lot of things with it too.

Maybe something like this for your bridges and major PWPs. A Flower Arch leading up to your mayors house, and make the whole front of the house a garden. Make the area south of the plaza an orchard.

I see a lot of similarities w/ my main town's map. Where river starts bending is a lil different.. (mine's more to the middle). I put my cafe by far right side, below the river by the cliff. If you want, feel free to visit my DA in sig c: location of beach, town plaza, town hall, Retails.. Pretty close to mine c:

Arabelle, your town is so beautiful *__* I'd never be able to pull off something that amazing, but it still gave me inspiration <3 Thank you for sharing!!

1) I think the left bridge should be moved to the little hump in the river (where the river bends, almost lined up to the town hall). I think that will look exceptionally nice if they are lined up! 3rd one maybe looks better on the left side of the river in front of your house, it can connect with the left bridge and create a little tour section where you can put PWPs in near the river!

2)I always liked putting a fountain in front of my house. It just makes it look serene and classy not sure if you like that, but I also find that a flower garden looks just as nice around homes!

3) I really like having the cafe near the retail and other "more populated" areas, but if you really want it near the cliff/beach, I would go with right under the puddle (if not, then to the right of retail). I love having a pond near my permanent buildings as well, since it just fits so naturally in with the buildings. Hope this helps a little!

Thanks for the suggestions! I ended up moving the left bridge to the hump- it does look really nice ^^

1.) Have a bridge to the left of your house if possible and then the other one on that little bump in the river above the pond near your campsite.
2.) The sculpture fountain would look elegant in front of your house but I don't know if it would fit so if you had like a little garden in the back of your house that would look cool.
3.) To the right of your dock above the curve in your beach.
