I've had Purrl since the start but I don't really want her in my village. So, I've been doing the typical tactics to annoy her such as hitting her with my net and pestering her. But, she never approaches me about hitting her, and whenever I talk to her she just says something about shopping, with no further dialogue options past her typical one-liners. This is starting to get annoying since I just want her to leave my village. Anyone have this problem with a villager before and know how to fix it?

Hitting her and talking to her just makes her stay longer. You need to ignore her.

Bad choices there if you want her to move out. Now if she pings you and says she wants to move and you let her, she'll want to become closer with you since you've lowered your friendship together and as a result she'll stay.

Reluctantly befriend her, then when she wants to leave, kick her out.
