Purple tulips

Hi guys,

So here's my dilemma; I'm trying to hybreed purple tulips for my main town, and I've been all over the net looking for which flower combinations make purple tulips. I haven't had much luck yet and I've tried orange and red, orange and orange, and pink and black. Does anyone have any suggestions? What's the best way to get purple tulips?

Red x Orange Tulips

Purple x Purple Tulips (obviously)

You just gotta be very persistent, you can get purple roses with two hybrid white roses, so maybe two hybrid white tulips will work?

All of those, other than purple+purple, are wrong. The correct flower combination for purple tulips is Orange + Orange tulips. You get Orange ones by breeding Red and Yellow Tulips.

Or you can just buy a couple (Try 5) purple tulips from a user on here, plant them in a pattern like below, x representing the hybrids

Have on beautiful town ordinance, water them with a golden watering can daily, and more should slowly start to spawn!

When I planted orange and orange, I wasn't expecting a purple one lol.
