Purple pansie y u no grow?

It's been over a month for me so far and still nothing.

I tried for a month or two before I got impatient and bought a breeding pair.

This, just buy a breeding pair. Hybrid red (?) pansies are too hard to keep track of.

I've seen people get them from a pair of blues. I'm trying everything ha. Also apparently Jacobs ladders help?
I don't want to buy a breeding pair, I much prefer breeding my own flowers. Even if it does take me till I'm 80...

I've gotten purple pansies. Here is how I did it.

1. I bred orange pansies from yellow and red pansies
2. I took those orange pansies and bred them together, waiting until I got a red pansy (with the orange genes)
3. I took a bunch of those red pansies (with orange genes) and bred them until I got purple

TIPS:
- set your town to beautiful town ordinance and water ONLY pansies you're trying to breed. this way you'll guarantee that those flowers will be the ones breeding

I got one purple pansies and after moths of not getting another I just bought it.

My breed like crazy. I at least get 1 a day. Maximum is around 3 a day.

When I started my game I began breeding flowers immediately and I ended up getting a few of the hybrid red pansies within a couple of days. Maybe it just depends on the town. But I would also recommend what pocky said. just keep trying and good luck!
