Ok, so here is my dilemma...

A villager suggested I build a windmill for a pwp. Absolutely loving this idea, I picked a spot with the intentions of placing another two nearby. I completed the project only to find out the windmill no longer shows up on my list of pwps....im guessing because it was suggested? Will I ever be able to build another windmill? Can a villager suggest it again, or is it limited to one per town? If I can only build one, can I demolish it (it does appear on my demolish list) and immediately rebuild it in a new spot, or will I need to get suggested again?

Any insight is greatly appreciated!

(Correct me if I'm wrong)

I'm pretty sure some projects just vanish because you can only place them once in your town. If you demolish it, it will appear on your list again and you can rebuild it. It takes a total of 3 days to replace it.

This is if you can pay straight away though.

Day 1) Demolition
Day 2) Funding
Day 3) Built

Also I forgot to add, you need to pay to build it again and it costs some bells to demolish it too.

Those big projects, like the lighthouse and windmill, you can only build one of each! Sorry :/

IF you are into time traveling you can get i all done in one day, for the three day span(actually only 2 days see info below). I had this problem where I built the windmill and the wrong place. So I just demolished, saved and quit, time traveled one day ahead it appeared again in my list so I picked a better spot, built it, funded it right there and it was there the next day I time traveled. you don't have to wait to fund it if you already have the bells to do it, you can fund it right away the same day you built it.

I tip for removing work projects apart from them that can't be deleted, you need a bit of space though, is to build a house on the work project save it then delete the house, then fund the new one and it will be done the next day

Thanks for the fast replies! Ok, so as I now understand it....i can only have one windmill in my town, but provided I invest the bells and time, I should be able to rebuild it right away in a new spot? Meaning I should have it ready to build once demolished and not have to wait for another villager to suggest it again before I can attempt to rebuild it? Sorry if this is redundant, I just want to be sure. Thanks again!

Yup, it only needs to be suggested once and it will always be in the list, unless it's like those that can only be made once, but it will still be there if you demolish it.

Even if you don't time travel if you have the funds you don't have to wait till the next day to fund it if you have the bells you can fund it right away.
