Just curious where others have built there fountains? I was thinking about putting mine right outside the train station. Will villagers congregate near it or anything?

Also, I've read that it's good to only have two bridges since they count towards your 30 PWPs. So should I just use two if my layout allows it? I know if I build three then apparently I won't be approached with new bridge ideas by villagers.

Thought I had other questions but can't remember...

Ah, will animals ever donate to projects? I tend to pay mine off as quick as I plop them done though.

Haven't build my fountain yet but it's going to be in the center of a 4 way plaza I'm going to be making. Idk if they will gather around it often. I know that they like to play on new bridges a lot. In my experience..

After I built a new bridge by my house, all the animals were there walking through my forest and flowers right by my house xD

Legit same thing happened to me. And most of them live on the other side of town lol

I also have my fountain right outside the train station. They don't really congregate near it though, but yeah, they definitely do with bridges. My animals would hardly ever go to the right side of my town until i built a new bridge, and now they all hang out there haha.

I have three.

One's in the Mayor's Park near my house. One's in a quiet area between the plaza and beach cliffs. The last one is a statue fountain and it's in a small park near the train station.

Animals do tend to go near public works in my experience, but bridges are definitely the go-to places for them. It's kind of annoying trying to water my flowers by them with 5 animals crowding the area. >_<

Forgot to say they'll donate towards projects but it's such minimal amounts you'll be footing 99.9% of the bill.

My fountain is just near the first bridge, not very far from my house. I pretty much have my fountain on one side and the cafe on the other side.

I put a fountain in front of the train station... but there's a rock way too close. I think I'm gonna have to demolish it and put it somewhere else.

Basically the bridge you get when you start doesn't count towards the 30 PWP total, so if you want three, it's a good idea to keep it. If you demolish it and build a new one, that new one will count toward the 30 PWP total.

Also in my experience at least villagers barely contribute a bell.
