PSvita worth it?

there is quite a few good games like Gravity rush, need 4 speed most wanted, lumines electronic symphony, wipeout 2048, desgaea 3, uncharted, tearaway, little big planet, lego lord of the rings, metal gear solid hd collection and neat downloadable games like escape plan,sound shapes and flower,Plus if you plan to get a ps4 you can use the vita as a keyboard or play ps4 games through wifi on the vita.I like the twitter and netflix app on it too

Depends on the type of games you're looking for, as the Vita is mostly a JRPG and indie machine at this point kinda like the 3DS.

All those off the top of my head. Sure a decent number are ports, but they are quality ports worth listing. Didn't list any indie titles there, but games like Terraria and Minecraft are out/coming to it. Plenty of games, you just gotta look.

Yea. Have had one for a bit now and I really like it. Found out that some PSP games can be downloaded onto it. Just got God of War: Chains of Olympus for it recently and it's well worth the $14.99 I spend for it. Only issue is the cost of the memory cards. They need to lower them again, they still cost too much. Other than that, it's worth the investment.
Personally I hardly play on my Vita. I agree with Tom who said that it was more of a JRPG/indie machine because I don't have a lot of games to go with it.

I don't have that many games for it, but I say it's worth it if you enjoy RPGs. Also, if you plan on importing games, I highly suggest you get Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus if you don't mind the fanservice and like hack and slash games. As for other games, the others have said what I would suggest anyway!

Well I can read some Japanese I guess.. And I am a jrpg junkie and lives in europe + region lock and Nintendo and whatnot sucking at distro and such = sucks schlongs.
Might get a PSP instead since it has a lot games too. But kinda starting to hate Nintendo nowadays...

If you can read in japanese and have a jap vita (cant remember if vita has reigon lock) Then its a good system.
Psp is a good investment. Has some good standout games.

It got some good games, but I'm not sure if it's worth it I got these games so far.

But I've spend wayyyyy more time on Animal crossing on the 3ds alone, and pokemon Y, as I said it got some good games, but none that you will keep playing imo at least.

Personally I love my PS Vita and would recommend it, its better for more mature games as compared to the 3DS and I feel its games offer more variety. Besides being able to watch youtube and netflix and other things it can also play music and you can go on party chat and message people as if your texting. It also has 3G access so its not limited to wifi like the 3DS. For me I personally like it since there I can play japanese games ((whether its from a anime or just ones I find interesting)) and its more fun I find then the games that are offered for the 3Ds. Some of my favorites are:
-Hatsune Miku Project Diva F ((Imported and in Japanese)) ((Also am currently trying to get the second game that has came out, its seriously addicting and is a great game for any fan of vocaloid))
-Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Battle Pentagram (Imported and in Japanese))
-Hello Kitty to Issho Block Crash V ((Imported and in Japanese))
-Little Big Planet
-The Walking Dead ((Got it in a bundle with Vita and its really fun, only down part is needing headphones))

- Persona 4 Golden
