Problem with villager moving in?

Okay so I recently managed to get Aurora from some one, or so I thought. I invited her to move into my town yesterday, and today, I booted up my game with a new character, ready for the agonising pains of plot resetting. Problem is, her plot did not show up anywhere? I combed through my entire town but I could not find her plot.

I have 8 villagers right now. Fauna was in boxes the day I invited Aurora, and Fauna was invited to live in someone else's town. Her house is gone so she has moved out.

I can think of a reason why Aurora's plot has not showed up? Does anyone know any reasons or solutions to this? Thanks in advance!

If memory serves me correctly, if you have a villager in boxes the same day you invite someone to your town, it takes an extra for your invited villager to put down their plot. Something to do with the game first needing a day to process that your villager in boxes is completely gone. If you TT another day forward (or just wait another day) and load up with a new character, I'm pretty sure Aurora's plot should show up!

I TTed two days forward but her plot still isn't showing up cos what you said was what I thought would happen. I'm really confused.

If the person you got her from did not TT her out then she would be moving out of that person's town today. So she will likely turn up in your town tomorrow!
