PROBLEM PLEASE LOOK!!!!!

I downloaded the game and bought another sd card because i thought u can have 2 towns. oldest town: Aserdeny. newest one: New City. but when i went back to my older sd card it gives this: Cannot use save data because it was not the last saved. Delete data?
so if i say yes will i have my first town or the second?

And for people that wanna do this dont do it! u can lose one of ur towns!

It sounds like you may be out of luck.
I always thought the SD card was just for pictures. Thou you did say you downloaded the game too. I think the only way to get 2 towns is to purchase 2 games...Im not 100% on that, but it seems logical.

So...I belive you've lost your 2nd town...sorry...

Nintendo considers keeping two towns in two SD cards to be a form of pirating. Your town will corrupt if you try to do this. You have to buy a second game to get another town.

I don't download the games for fear of something like this happening. A lot of people like the convenience of downloading it though. Having the game card is better imo.

i have the digital version and the cartridge, i only use one SD card and i've ran into no issues

I made a post asking if all I needed to make a 2nd town was another sd card(I have the ac 3ds with game preinstalled). I'm glad I posted first cause I was told if I got another sd card and made a 2nd town without another game cartridge I'd lose my first town. I'm afraid this is what has happened to you. I was also told if my purpose in making a town was to get stuff for my toon in the other town(which it was) that I also had to get another ds. So my plan went out the window. I'm sorry this happened to you.
