Pro Designs and wall of Ables shop

I have a question about pro designs for someone who does them regularly. I very much enjoy the pro designs. I have been messing around with making some just for the fun of it. I have run out of room (why did they make it so small )
If I put a design on the wall of the Ables shop then make another over the design in my design page, will the design on the wall stay there? or will it be deleted?

I am not sure i worded that question very well, but i hope its understandable.

it will stay there. forever. until you reset your town. andddd all of your villagers will wear them (which does sound cute) but i was an amateur when i started and put my kimino designs on the wall and my villagers always wear them. the only thing that looks good on everyone is this little lilac hoodie i made. the only thing i don’t know is if it makes your villager “unoriginal”, because i don’t know if they bring the designs to a new town, ruining the value of a villager.

They do bring the designs to the new town. Even when you tell Isabelle to reset before someone comes over to adopt them. I had Sherb in boxes when I told Isabelle to reset him and my friend said thag he was walking around with the shark hat on.

Idk if you have to tell her to reset it when they are wearing it or what for it to get removed but they'll probably pick it up again eventually.

I stopped selling my villagers as original and just disclose they might have custom designs and I never gift them furniture or clothing.
