So, I am kinda into magical girls and stuff now so I made a chibi of a
girl that kind of had a similar design. I have never took this long to draw something tbh ; v ;;
( 3 hours )

And, I was hoping if someone could give a TBT/BTB price you think its worth.
( and if you want, you can comment with a ref, and If you'd like, I'll sell you a chibi ))

I mean, It's cute but those proportions look like they're really hurting her lmao

I think her body is cute, but (in my honest opinion) the eyes need a bit more detailing and her left hand is a bit odd looking.
(the one that's making the peace sign.) And of course, detailing overall on the clothes and hair, but that always can come later. :)

Her body looks too thick for what it should be, unless she's doing a Jessica Rabbit body under that dress.

Thinner legs, smaller & thinner arms and make her taller, should fix things in my opinion.

well

the body is sy=uppose to be a poofy dress, you wouldn't even see her body size, arms could be fixed, i like the legs, and she's a chibi so not going to make her taller, and i thought the hair was very detailed but whatever

Honestly, I asked for a price, not a critique...

proportions?

I believe they're referring to body proportions.

As for pricing, you might want to work with a style a bit more before immediately jumping to selling. But that's my opinion. I'm not good with pricing, though. Price how it feels right to you.

yes, I hate the eyes, I just couldn't find eyes that fit her, and I like the detailing, so I'm keeping that

thank you c:

Probably 10-25 tbt. I suggest you work on it more like others have said. I also suggest you use more contrast in shading in addition to proportions.

This, the dress looks terrible since it looks like it's just been cut out and pasted onto the girl.

You gotta add folds in the dress, you gotta do it man.

Well gee oh my, sorry for trying to help you so people would be willing to give a price.

Quality>Quantity, gotta learn it bro.

don't have to be an ass about it. A lot of people don't know how to give constructive criticism.

Ok, repeat to me to what I said isn't somewhat constructive, It may not even be the best crit out there but it's something???

Unless the whole Quality and Quantity isn't a thing to you.

I believe that she originally asked for prices not a "critique" it's not too constructive because you aren't providing enough resources or advice on how to fix what isn't appealing to you or others. Instead of telling her what to do like "oh the dress is too short or body is too weird" give her help and reasons, not just a statement.

Saying something looks terrible isn't constructive. Your tips aside, the fact remains OP never asked for a critique in the first place.

You expect me to draw this stuff? Alright, I'll be a little informative with what I was saying.

OP, look at chibi's properly and see how they're drawn, they don't tend to have breasts half the size of their body, I only said to make her taller because chibi's generally have thicker bodies and small arms and legs, her legs are waaaaay too thick for her body size, same with the arms.

The dress is specifically an area that needs to improve, considering you've given her decently sized breasts due to her cleavage, make it so the breasts aren't made out of paper and try to give it a little bit of detail, folds in the dress is another thing you NEED to consider if you're giving it shading, as I said, it's like you've cut out a cartoon dress from a paper doll set and stuck it on the character itself.

I'm trying to not be as harsh as possible by saying this, but you need to improve quite alot because of these lacking features, You HAVE the potential to be decent but if you're just going to throw crits down the drain, that won't happen anytime soon.

But if you want a price, 30 TBT at max, you can just ignore what I'm saying if it really bothers you.

Bruh, only one person in this thread has mentioned a price and it's low because of the lack of the OP's effort, the OP needs to take feedback and crits if they want to sell their art at a somewhat ok price.

Also I said the dress needs more details such as folds, how is that only saying it looks terrible? I too can paste a cartoon dress on a character with no details, would that be art? probably not.

Literally how would you know how much effort they put into it. Everyone learns and grows as artists at different paces, just because it doesn't look the way you apparently think it ought to doesn't mean there was no effort.
Anyway that's all I'm saying on the subject since I don't want to clutter the thread, apologies to the OP for being off-topic.

Damn my bad, I thought I had included that!
I was going to say maybe 30-40 tbt for a full body.

You also have to take into account of how much work/how many hours you spend on it.
Also, if you're honestly trying, working hard and giving them what they pay for, don't feel bad about raising the price a bit. :) If you're just throwing the cursor around, which I've seen people do, then people shouldn't have to pay anything.
