It was hard to tell if you were joking via text since you didn't use any emoticons or anything to indicate whether it was sarcastic or what. It's also hard to tell because you didn't respond to anything else I said, completely ignoring the entire reason I said something to you in the first place. And also, shannenenen wasn't being rude or self-centered. (not even sure where you got self-centered from tbh)

It's nice that you wanted to help someone get their dreamie. But if you don't understand the rules of selling and adopting villagers in this forum, you should probably read the stickied post about it.

The argument in this thread was completely uncalled for. As per the auction rules, whomever posted first to buyout the auction should be the one to adopt the villager in question. Posting that you'll help someone outbid the person who had already won the auction via buyout is quite rude, not to mention unnecessary. If I or any the staff see this type of behavior again, you can expect a warning or infraction.

For everyone else, if you see an argument breaking out or someone acting in a way that violates the site rules and guidelines, simply report the thread instead of posting and continuing the bickering. I'm going to close this here, but the OP and auction winner are welcome to organize the adoption via PM or VM.
