Stitches is moving in tomorrow from my campsite. I know there are places I want him to set up his house, and more importantly, places I DON'T want him to be. I plan on keeping him for a while so the placement is important. I have begin setting things on the ground in places I don't want him to go, and clearing our areas he would be fine at.

Any advice? Am I missing anything, or anything I need to know that I didn't mention? Thanks!

Put PWPs in places you don't want him to move. Take them down after Stitches moves into the right spot. Pick up your hybrids and store them somewhere just in case.

Yeah but they'd only be able to place one PWP before he moves in as he's moving in tomorrow x3 but as long as you plot reset then I'm sure you'll find a good spot for him! Good luck.

Do you mean PWP? Because villagers will move on top of flowers, trees, bushes, dropped items...literally anything that isn't a PWP, and even then, they can move pretty close to them. But if you have blocked off areas you really don't want him with PWP, you should have a quicker time plot resetting. :)

Before a villager comes, I always put a fence in a vague area where they must not move as the PWP that you can build before they move in, as it takes up a lot of space. Once they have moved in, you can just demolish it if you want to :)
