I've put some thought into this while playing Heart Gold, and I thought of something.
If we get the shiny three legendary dogs event before B/W, then how would we send them over? We couldn't trade them because HG/SS does not have the data for these new pok

I imagined it would be like Ruby and Sapphire. The National Dex data would transfer over with any Pokemon that you can only get via Firered/Leafgreen but you wouldn't be able to find any new Pokemon.

My guess is that 3DS will use two cartridges, one with each image on it, so you could just insert one and it would be 2D, meaning you could remove card B to put HG/SS in.
