How does everyone create such awesome flags?!

Mine's not much; just a simple design based off Amaterasu from Okami. It's not that great, and even if it was, I don't have any pictures. Sorry...

My town's name is a mix between two things I love: The circus and forests, so it became Cirwood.
The flag is a circus in the woods, with a orange background because that's my town's fruit. Also my town is circus-themed.
