Possible server issue in UK?

Tonight I had a couple of people looking to come round. The first one couldn't come in as the train never arrived and resetti appeared. I wondered if it was my wifi so I uploaded a dream, visited club Tortimer and all was problem free. I then tried to visit their town...nothing.
After one more try I got in, but they couldn't visit me after I was done. Then someone else couldn't come round and nor could I get out, I know it cant be my wifi, and there was no error code, just a 'please try later' message.

Does anyone else in the uk have this issue, I know it would make me feel better if they do!? It was the same last night and the tail end of last week, I thought it may be because the kids are off school and so more are on later in the evening/nighttime??

Well I had a couple of errors earlier trying to go into a town but after about 4 tries I got in.

Is it the error with no code? Apparently it's an issue with the router. According to Nintendo it's because it's not compatible with whatever trickery they use for this game, and there is no fix.
