So I had a glitch where Velma didnt come to my campsite for the third day of trying to invite her, her pre-requisites have not been met and she never asked to kick out a villager even though I have a full town of 10. When trying to invite her with an empty campsite, she says she's busy moving. I ended up with an empty plot today because Tutu asked to move out the same day I tried to invite Velma. I wanted to go ahead and time travel a bit to get the plot filled in in the case that there's a patch tomorrow, I don't want anything weird to happen due to bad timing. But instead of Velma moving in, it was a villager from one of my friend's voids. No big deal to me if that villager gets glitched.
But now I think I have a new issue.
every day of the few in-game days I opened and time traveled in, I tried to summon Velma via amiibo, checking every time that the tent is not occupied. I got the same answer every time, I believe she may be stuck. Has anyone else experienced this or can confirm that it's not a glitch? If it is, I want to report it to nintendo since this seems like something not brought up and doesn't seem to be known. I'll wait til tomorrow to see if there is a patch and if the patch fixes this, if not I'll send in the report.
