Popped a gold balloon but got a bamboo recipe? So upset

So I popped 300 balloons and saw the gold balloon and popped it and there was a bamboo recipe inside instead of a golden slingshot recipe! Will a gold balloon spawn again? I am now locked out of getting it? Has anyone else had this happen? So upset

The gold balloon will keep spawning until you learn the recipe. It might take a while. Are you sure it was a gold balloon and not a yellow one? The gold ones are a really tacky yellow

Yeah it was a gold one. It was a really gaudy and tacky shade of yellow. It's just so odd. Why would there be a bamboo recipe in there?

It might be a minor bug. I would double check your inventory in case you were carrying a bamboo recipe and forgot about it.

Could be a bug, but I bet you'll eventually get it. I missed the gold balloon the first time I saw it at the 300 mark as it was flying over the ocean. I eventually got another with the recipe at 312 or 313 total balloons popped.

That's good to know that they eventually respawn. It probably is a bug. I'll report it to Nintendo. I'm just so worried I wont get the recipe now...
