Poncho is moving!! PLEASE HELP!! :C

About 10 minutes ago I discovered that Poncho, my favorite villager, is moving away tomorrow. I love that bear so much, I was trying to avoid this from happening! Can someone please take him and keep him for me until he wants to move again...? :C

If he isn't in boxes yet, I think you should still be able to change his mind by talking to him. He might eventually bring up the conversation thread about how he's moving, and then you can ask him to reconsider. I'm not a hundred percent sure about this though; it's just something I've noticed with my villagers who've moved out in the past.

I'm not sure this is true, the threads I've read seem to indicate that once a villager is in boxes, there isn't any way to stop them from leaving. :c

BUT
are you thinking of cycling out 16 villagers in order to invite him back?
If that is the case, perhaps you can ask in the Villagers Trading Plaza , and see if anyone trustworthy will be willing to hold him for you? n__n
There are quite a bit of cyclers available, you might have better luck seeking help there.

I have thought about cycling, but I've never time-traveled on New Leaf before and I'm afraid something will go wrong.. Looks like I'm not getting Poncho back for a while.. ^^;

Sorry to hear this. . In new leaf, once they are in boxes, you cant change their minds, unforunately. If you do have the patience to cycle and can find someone to hold him for you, that's the best you can do. Sorry, it sucks when a favorite is unexpectedly in boxes.
