Is there a way to make someone want a police station? I know I have to wait for someone to ask for one before I can build one in my public works projects but is there a way to make someone want one?

The answer's no. Pretty sad huh? I had to wait 2 weeks for one of my villagers to request that damn police station -.-

I have had new leaf since its release and only just got requested the police station about a month ago, its all about luck I guess.
