whether they're your actual favourites or you just like how they play enough to keep coming back to them, are there any pokemon you always or almost always use when playing? even if you just pick the same starter every time or something.
for me, i use crobat in every single game if it's available. (and in the ones it's not, i mope about it while planning a team.) it actually became my favourite THROUGH using it so much, since it always found its way onto my team. i also go out of my way to use azumarill & roserade when i can, and while they're not favourites, per-say, i'm so used to them that i always play w/ typhlosion and blaziken when i replay johto or hoenn.
Hydreigon. Ever since it debuted in generation five it has been a staple of my team, whether I’m using a monotype dragon or dark team or not. I love its good stats and wide movepool, and think it’s kind of underrated as a Pokemon to be honest. Other than that I can’t think of any other Pokemon that I insist on using. I usually choose the fire starter first in each game, but that’s not a specific Pokemon.
At first that seems like a hard question to answer for me. My first game was Crystal and I always used Chikorita so for a while it was that or they Pidgey line cause I don’t like the birds past Pidgeot.
When I first started playing Soul Silver I always had an Espeon then I moved over to using Umbreon so they hold a place in my heart.
Now I always use a Lucario. I can’t really explain my love for this Pokémon other than the movie introduced me to him and I fell in love. But I like his design, and all in all I just love him. Also side note I always name him Nimoy after my favorite Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy.
