Pokemon X or Y...?

I'm downloading one of the two tonight, and I know Google is a bountiful source of answers but I thought I'd rather get extra input from actual players/pokemon fans. I know that the biggest difference is certain pokemon, correct? I do like the older pokemon, along with Cyndaquil, and another Pokemon I like is Wooper. But I'm not a Pokemon expert or anything, I've been leaning towards Y, but I'd love opinions of those with more experience thank you all!

I have Y. I chose it because I liked the look of the Y legendary better than the X. If I were you I would buy the physical copy over a downloaded one (just my personal preference due to ability to sell it when you get bored).

I like the Y exclusives more, and the mega stones you can find are better. However, X has Mega Charizard X. That thing is sexy. However, Yveltal is a total bad***.

I chose Y because I'm a Y chromo and my girlfriend chose X for the same reason.
You can trade on the GTS for X's exclusive with ease.

I have X, and I adore it. Xerneas is a fantastically designed legendary, being one of the most simple designs in Pokemon yet so majestic. The exclusives are good, but go with your gut. Look at both games and say, 'which one do i want, just by looking at them?'

Yveltal is the better/stronger of the two legendaries, though. But it's easy to obtain a Yveltal and the Y exclusives if you want X. I obtained everything very easily on this site and Gfaqs.

I chose X,I think its great! I remember I looked in the nintendo store and based on x and it's ratings x was the more popular of the two.
