For the shiny charm, you can still get it without fully completing the pokedex. They don't count event Pokemon: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Event_Pokémon
So you don't need Shaymin. Unless you want it for completion purposes :P
I do have landorus and lugia but that's about it!

Got a World Hobby Fair Rayquaza from a friend who got them legit from his Japanese friend, Decided to give one to me and hopefully help me with getting Pokemon I want with good Eggmoves.

So yeah, I'd love to get some Pokemon with good EM's for my Rayquaza.
