What's your collection? I plan on getting a Plasma Storm theme deck so I can enter the regionals... I've been practicing lately :3

Recently I've been really interested in the Dragon's Exalted cards. The Plasma ones are okay.

I was planning on judging last November but I had to go to Florida so I missed it.

It's been a while since I've played. But like I said, I've been into the dragon's exalted cards and attempting to make a deck with them.
I wish the online TCG wasn't buggy as heck. Me and Andy played a few times on it but it's still extremely buggy and you have to uninstall it every time it needs updated. =/

I have a desk drawer with all the cards I collected as a child. I stopped right after the Johto cards came into circulation. I liked collecting the cards but I'm glad I got out of it because they're way too many cards now. >>

But one day I wanna get at least one of each Pokemon so it would be like a Pokedex but with cards. My first goal is to collect the first 151 Pokemon, preferably from the 1st set of cards from years ago.

And I have no idea how to play the game with cards lol.

Good luck, because they stopped printing Kadabra cards. You'd have to find one from one of the really early series.

Yes, but booster packs don't have set amounts of certain cards like theme decks do. You could get a booster pack with absolutely no energy cards at all.
One time, back in the NG series I got a pack that only had like two or three pokemon cards in it. The rest were trainer cards. lol

It's all luck with boosters, but I think that makes it more fun if you have the moolah to put towards it. And yeah, I know about the tournaments that require you to build out of a certain collection that the judges have. I'm on mixed feelings with those sort of rules though.

You could probably find groups that play with the beginning series of cards. But the rules have changed dramatically since then, and the older cards aren't playable with the newer ones.

I have a lot of the old cards (Gen 1 and 2) and a few new ones.

They're all pretty bad ones, save a few, and I don't even know exactly how to play the TCG, but I still like having them.

I tried to sell my pokemon card duplicates once.

Yeah I still have the box of cards in the other room hidden behind games and stuff. I also 'borrowed' the cards I didn't have from the bags of cards my brother was going to sell. He still doesn't miss them.

My brother drove me nuts. We kept our cards in separate binders. My cards were organized by the proper order the pokemon came in. My brother? He shoved cards wherever he wanted. I'm a little ocd so that really bugged me when I was a kid. still kinda bugs me.

I've really been thinking of getting some more recent cards and seeing what it is my area, sadly it's pretty lacking last time I checked.
And on top of that I'd have to build a decent deck for play.

I've never been able to play the pokemon card game. Heck my cousin even gave me a little computer game program that taught me how. When I was little it was (somehow) pretty confusing. xD

I'm a collector by nature so I like to just collect stuff like this.
