Pokemon themed joke in German version of ACNH

I believe the joke when translated to English says, "Real tentacool!" (I am still learning German, so please feel free to correct me on whether I am right on the translation of the joke)

It's just a pun on tentacle which, yes, is the same one Pokémon uses.

Apparently it's Tentacha in German instead of Tentacool — but it's funny the pun seems about Pokémon instead of Splatoon like in English or French x)

It would make more sense for them to say Tentacha. I'm not sure why they used Tentacool.

It don't think it's supposed to be a Pokémon reference. It's tentakel + cool, which becomes the same word as tentacle + cool.

It's still a Splatoon-reference. "TentaCool" is the German name for "Off the Hook".
