New stages and EX stages are announced for Monday, and the new event pokemon is Giratina.

I caught Giratina with a 6% catch rate and today I finally unlocked the Mewtwo EX stage. He is so flipping hard though. I do my best, but it's never enough to kill him.

I am enjoying Giratina. I am at stage 21 right now... it has gotten difficult pretty quickly, so it will probably take me awhile to get through to level 50.

Anyone know what the megaspeedup (I'm blanking on the name... the new item) does?

The mega speed up helps to speed up the mega evolution of your mega pokemon, I think it?s useful for slow evolving mega pokemon, like Aerodactyl.

That's a cool item. I guess I will definitely plow through the Giratina stage then and try to get to 50.

I'm dreading having to get more S-ranks to get the next 3 pokemon in the expert stages...

I only have as much S ranks as needed to unlock the Genesect stage, I?m dreading too.

Well, I just beat Giratina level 50 and was shocked to see that the levels keep on going! Apparently if you get to 100, you can earn another mega speedup. Does anyone plan on attempting it? I don't think I will, seeing as I will probably need items on every level on the way up. I'd rather spend my limited coinage getting S-ranks on the main stages (so I can then in turn attempt more expert stages).

This game is starting to get frustrating... I really want to attempt the new expert stages, but it's going to take FOREVER to finish getting S-ranks. Some of them will probably require a lot of coinage, and that takes time to amass too.

I think I have 158 or so S ranks right now, so it's gonna take awhile to even hit 190 for the first stage....

Pokemon don`t evolve in this game, it`s not like in the main series. There?s only the temporary mega evolution.

Okay, I'm going to go crazy.

For the last three Saturdays in a row, I have spent at least 10,000 coins on the Victini event, trying to catch him. I failed again this morning, and I can't believe I have to grind for another week to attempt him again on Saturday.

Arrrrrgh.

Complexity -1 on conkeldurr still doesn't guarantee you'll be anywhere close to beating him with 0 moves, let alone an S. Spent a good 60,000 coins so far...

I finally made it to level 50 giratina and it took like 65 total hearts, like 5 extra on 40-49 and then 10 extra on 50. NEVER DOING 51+
I also caught mewtwo at 4%.
Ugh, Onix in wacky workshop took forever to beat, after that it was a breeze. Now I'm stuck on braxien.

Well, I finally got a chance to play Manectric in the safari this afternoon. I beat him readily (152 combo!) but could not catch him! Base catch rate 23%, great ball catch rate 46%, and I used FIVE great balls without success. That was probably a week's worth of coin grinding

I finally caught all of the safari mons.

Manaphy sucked. It didn't stay in the first ball but I got the sweaty super catch rate thing which brought it up to 85 percent or something. It then proceeded to beak out of THREE great balls. Ugh. Manaphy ended up being very expensive.

I downloaded this the other day! I'm working on catching all the special event pok?mon right now. Only have Manectric left of the safari zone pok?mon, then I've got to catch Dialga and Manaphy. I'm not too far in the main path of the game, though. Only just beat mega mawile

Congrats on starting! You're doing really well considering you only have up to Mawile in the main stages.

Quick tip: I think it's really worth it to catch as many expert level pokemon as soon as you can. It makes later stages much easier... those pokemon are really powerful!

Anyone participating in the Mega something tournament? I think I'm just gonna resign myself to one try and then waiting for it to cycle around again. Not gonna bother with the huge crowd.
