Pokémon Pokemon Shuffle! <3

Can anyone help with defeating Mewtwo and Xerneas? I have defeated them before but only with seconds and those seconds can't help me catch them. Anyone have team advice?

No there is no quick way to know, but it kind of tells you how many S ranks you have while unlocking the expert stages.
So for example unlocking EX Stage 12 Blaziken let`s you know you have 60 S ranks.

Ah, okay. I know I have somewhere between 110 and 150 S ranks based on what I've unlocked in expert, but I didn't want to have to count the exact number by hand. Thanks though!

Also to answer other people's questions: if I get stuck on a hard level, I have found that spending a TON of coins at once is really the only way to keep going. It's a bummer, but then I typically S-rank and catch the pokemon for that level all in one splurge. It does require a lot of coin-grinding though...

Have you been using items? I still only have Mewtwo on B rank and I'm pretty sure I had to use almost all the items (besides complexity because that is $$$). But I got lucky despite the low catch rate.

Xerneas was much easier I thought - currently have it on A-rank and I don't think I used any items. Can't remember if I had any particular strategy though since this was a while back for me but I used Mega Mawile, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, and Bronzong. I'll probably go back and S-rank it shortly (since I recently finished S-ranking all the main stages) so I'll let you know!

Well pinsir is a joke. Only 4 total attempts to get this guy with a base rate of 3%?

Anyone have any good strategies for Regirock? I got him down to 25% once... and that's still not even close! Plus the baseline catch rate is probably going to be horrible.

Well...I missed getting Pinsir. Snorlax is also kicking my ass.

This game is honestly beginning to lose its "fun" value to me. :(

Same. I missed pinsir with 12 great balls and tried it on all days. Now regirock is being impossible, I spent 20,000 coins with my level 6-8 team and can't get it below half.

This game has gone beyond pay to win.

I only got Pinsir because I got insanely lucky on a 5% catch rate. Now... Regirock on the other hand... I have to clear the stage before I can even attempt to catch it!

BTW: Did anyone try using the power up stat boost thing that costs 3000 coins? I hadn't noticed it available on any stages before. It says it doubles damage, so theoretically if you can get to half damage, you should be able to win with this powerup.

I lucked out and caught Pinsir (I think I've said this already??), but yeah this game is really losing my interest fast. The further I progress, the more blatant the pay us to win becomes. :/ I'd consider giving them more money if they released some sort of pass that upped heart limit or decreased the cooldown or even upped the money won from levels. Honestly they did it right with Rumble World compared to this.

Yes, I would definitely pay for a permanent upgrade of some sort. I can't justify buying coins/hearts/jewels when they essentially refresh over time or can be grinded for.

I did buy the power+ but then I did worse and only got it to 30%. Better but still way off.

It is such a random stage like all others. The best way seems to be mega start + with mega aerodactyl (which kills basically every block despite non-effective damage) and then power + and then also complexity -1 if you are paranoid.

Well... I splurged about 15000 coins today on great balls so I could catch Yvetal and Xerneas. I think it was worth it though! Those two have been driving me crazy for at least a month now.

I just did my next splurge to catch Regirock: mega start, power up, and +5 moves. I finished with 18 moves left, and that left a 29% catch rate. After a few great balls, I managed to catch him. I probably spent 10000 coins in total to finish the stage (and catch him, and get an S rank), but I think it was worth it.

Now I am back to grinding coins on Meowth for the next few days, haha.
