Next 7 Star Tera Raid is Salamence with a Flying Tera!

"The next 7 Star Tera Raid Battle event has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This event will feature a battle against a Salamence with the Flying Tera Type and the Mightiest Mark. It can only be caught once per save file.

This event will run from 00:00 UTC on April 18th through 23:59 UTC on April 20th and again from April 25th through April 27th with Blissey joining it for the second run."

With Tyranitar being the previous 7 Star, the current theme may be pseudo legends. I am personally hoping for a Mighty Mark Metagross.

Shiny Gimmighoul Raids are back!

This event will run from 00:00 UTC on April 30th through 23:59 UTC on May 8th."

As useless as shiny Gholdengo is I actually want to do this event since I ended up never getting one. Might as well since SV is basically at its close with ZA coming this year.

It looks like they are going to do all of the pseudos. I love Metagross but I think I'll skip this one too. Marks aren't interesting to me anyway.

7 Star Raid Metagross with a Steel Tera is now live!

"The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the Mighty Metagross event. This event has Metagross appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Steel Tera Type. As with all past 7 Star Raid events, players can only catch one Metagross from raids per save file. This event runs until May 11th 2025 at 23:59 UTC."

5-Star Shiny Treasures of Ruin raids were announced and they began today. First up is Wo-Chien:

- From July 23rd through August 3rd, you will face off against a Shiny Wo-Chien with the Grass Tera Type.
- From August 4th through August 17th, you will face off against a Shiny Chien Pao with the Ice Tera Type.
- From August 18th through August 31st, you will face off against Shiny Ting-Lu with the Ground Tera Type.
- From September 1st through September 14th, you will face off against Shiny Chi-Yu with the Fire Tera Type.

If each of these Pokémon are defeated 1 million times in each period before it ends, the respective Pokémon will be available though Mystery Gift at the following times:

- Shiny Wo-Chien: Friday, August 8, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC.
- Shiny Chien-Pao: Friday, August 22, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC.
- Shiny Ting-Lu: Friday, September 5, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC.
- Shiny Chi-Yu: Friday, September 19, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC.

Then for every 100,000 victories after that, a Tera Shard Set of 40 Tera Shards will also be distributed, up to 10 Tera Shards per event

I'm glad that the shinies of the Treasures of Ruin are becoming available. Especially Wo-Chien since I love its concept and design and am, of course, very fond of the Autumnal coloration of the leaves in its shiny.

Following up on the previous post, the shiny Wo-Chien raids concluded last night and the shiny Chien-Pao raids began at midnight.

Shiny Chien-Pao raids will run until August 17, 2025 at 23:59 UTC.

Reminder: These shiny Treasures of Ruin cannot be captured in these raids, but if 1,000,000 are defeated, they will be distributed via Mystery Gift.

I am hoping to Arceus that these are available to everyone not just those who do the raid. Mostly bc I reset the game two days before this got announced for a nuzlocke run and its very irritating (I thought we were done X( , guess not). I will be very disappointed if I cant have my angry blue goldfish nuke. The shinies look great and its nice that we can finally get them. Bet they will do one for our favorite sandwhich boys in the future but since its them it'll be 7 star misery calling it now.

As they're being distributed via Mystery Gift, I believe you'll be fine. Just as long as their 1,000,000 quotas are reached, they should be available to anyone who wants them once their distribution dates arrive.

Same here, I've never actually played much of my scarlet/violet, and only started getting back into it now. So my Pokemon and gym level arent upto par to fight this pokemon. The goldfish pokemon looks so adorable, omg
Even though, I know you don't need to take part as long as the quota is reached, but it would've been nice to help out and make sure you are apart of helping out that quota DX

I do have like, two gyms to finish I believe, so maybe I can help as some pokemon I have gotten via random swap were over 100

Plus imo its bragging rights having a shiny legit legendary (or mythical) and not one of those hacked/genned ones that are sadly everywhere. Wish nintendo would do something about those kinds of people, takes all the joy outta surprise trading. Despite the fact that mystery gifts are usually available to everyone i have only seen a handful of people with legit shiny legendaries most of them in SWSH thx to dynamax adventures.

I won two Chein-Po raids and lost one. The one I lost was because everyone I was battling with online had two Flame Ogerpon and a Scizor which couldn’t hold up very well to Chein-Po. I had a level 100 Volcorona that had Flame Charge and Fiery Dance to deal massive damage and I was doing pretty well and getting in some good hits with Fiery Dance. I got lucky and received two Sour Herb Mysticas after one of the battles I had won. I also won enough Candies to evolve Cosmog all the way into Solgaileo and a low leveled Rookidee up into a Corviknight.

And I was recently reminded that I can technically still get a Shiny Zeraora in SwSh to this day (will also do the same with a Shiny Melmetal).

Completed the Chien-Po raid with Skeledirge last night. It wasn't a recommended Pokemon but was able to complete it offline using Torch Song.

Torch song is just a broken move on a bulky pokemon like Skeledirge. It probably helped that the snow leopard is pretty frail, its (sadly) a better weavile but while it hits hard its defenses are okay at best.

I was surprised when a Youtuber and other posters said Skeledirge wasn't a good choice. Maybe for online? or getting the raid done faster. I like to complete the special raids offline for the challenge.
