Why do some pokemon like Chimchar not listin to you? it says ignored its orders or turned away whats up with that?

I'm assuming you got it via trade. Most traded Pokemon won't obey with badges.

Pokemon Lv 10 and under: No Badges
Pokemon Lv 30 and under: 2 Badges
Pokemon Lv 50 and under: 4 Badges
Pokemon Lv 70 and under: 6 Badges
All Pokemon: 8 Badges

this, if you're just starting the game and have only a few gym badges, pokemon you receive in trades that are too high of a level will ignore you, goof off, etc.

After Level 30 it won't obey you anymore until the 4th Badge.
