I had crazy luck yesterday in Alpha Sapphire! I managed to get two shinies! I spent a few hours breeding Poochyenas in order to get its hiddden ability and egg moves. Once I was happy with it I switched out one for a German Poochyena and after just one egg it was a Shiny female! Later that day I went back to the Safari Zone to DexNav more Pikachu as I had tried to chain there before with no luck. After just one search and encounter it was a shiny female! I could not believe my luck yesterday! xD

I've never actually got any Shinies that have my OT.... somehow, I've managed to get over 100 shinies, yet had none of my 'own' to trade...

Wish I could help. I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary. Also, don't worry or give up on finding your own shiny I'm sure one will pop out of the grass eventually when you least expect it.
1. Get the Shiny Charm. (Full National Dex).
2. Go to the route where the Pokemon you want is located.
3. Use a Max Repel.
4. Search for it on the DexNav. Engage battle when it pops up.
5. Either catch or defeat the Pokemon. Do not run from battles ever.
6. Right after the battle is finished, search for it again.
7. Keep using the above steps for chaining until it poops out a shiny.
It's not 100% foolproof, as chains can break randomly, or you screw up by slipping on the Circle Pad. I've found a shiny Audino and shiny Ralts this way.
Additionally you could have a False Swiper on your team (I use Zangoose), but also keep in mind that some of them are likely to run away, like Ralts and Abra with their damn Teleporting.

I ran into a shiny Lunatone. Too bad I ran out of pokeballs before I could catch it. I couldn't lower its HP too much because my Pokemon were way stronger and would've killed it. I ended up defeating it after I ran out of pokeballs.

Niceeeeeeeeee, I'm trying to hunt for a Shiny Lugia but I might quit that and go for one of the Legendary beasts instead.
Decided to chain fish for Feebas, since there's a 100% chance to find Feebas under the bridge during the day. Got two shinies, one male and one female. I'm going to evolve the female one and drop that into my shiny collection.

I had my first random shiny encounter! It was a tentacrual, lucky i really love tentacruels haha! I really wanna SR for a shiny reshiram, its one of my favourite legendaries, i'll have to buy another masterball for it! (if ur selling hmu
