Pokémon Nickname Thread!

Emboar (Miss Piggy)
Excadrill (Bottles)
Galvantula (Widow)
Unfezant (Ratwaing)
Tirtouga (Tortimer)
Sawsbuck (Buck)

I'd named Buck before I knew what it evolved into.

I have a Zuruzukin named Bruce Lee (cause it knows High Jump Kick)and my friend named his Zuruzukin Rosco Dash. Also got a Samurott named Peter because....I felt like naming him that. And an Emolga named Death because there is nothing more deadly than a flying squirrel:D

But electric derp mudfishes.

I used to nickname them after their Japanese names to confuse my friends. I'm now planning to nickname them after their Japanese names again because I don't see me remembering any of the new Pokemon names anytime soon. Those were on FR, LG, R and S.

For Emerald I gave them shorter version of their names. Like Treeko = Tree(...) Mudkip = Kipz Torchick = Chick... so on

I've always thought of naming all of my pokemon Magikarp, so when I battled with friends they'd have no idea who I'd be sending out. I don't know why I've never done it though...

I used to name my pokemon other pokemon that were weak against the original pokemon. If that makes any sense. Then I did food theme for HG and now whatever for Black (although I tried to do a botanical theme. Needless to say, it failed miserably).

New nicknames:

Cloyster: Sunflora
Stunfisk: Regice
Chandelure: Marill
Heracross: Graveler
Altaria: Budew

lol c wat i did thar?

I eventually did name them their Japanese names... Mainly my party and few others, I can actually remember their names now!

Nook shared his secrets :P
