Pokèmon Literal Ghost

So after I found the ghost in Lumiose city i did some research last night and apparently in some games of Pokemon there where ghost in them but no one figured out what they are for, some think its has something to do with hidden Pokemon what do you think?

My theory was it has something to do with past pkmn games like black and white. I've seen a ghost girl in game. I do have also feeling that Nintendo is trying to pull a prank or something to pokemon gamers.

In B/W there was a ghost girl, it got explained in the sequels. I'm guessing they'll do the same this time. It could also be event related.

Also in the station you can find a note which reads "Gone for help! Wait in then usual place" maybe she some how is tied to this maybe shes waiting for this person to return! Maybe in a future event you find this person maybe by the Couriway train that we never see (Mind = Blown)

Also I might add you find a (Pretty Wing) in Couriway town its said to be useless but its like the Luna wing the ghost girl gives you! Also maybe the professor has something to do with it to maybe he's the one shes waiting for!

I've seen the ghost in X & Y, the ghost in Black and White, and the Ghosts in Diamond and Pearl's Old Chateau. Why do they keep putting ghosts in the games?

Just found a new clue in a hotel next to the station shes there and she says "Dont talk...if you do I can't here the elevator" shes waiting their for the person to return

Yeah idk I personally find it kind of interesting. I was going to mention the ghosts in Old Chateau but I see someone else already talked about that so yeah xP I found the Old Chateau terrifying back then... Especially the music.
