Pokémon Pokemon General

I’m thinking that Champions must be this year’s big release for Pokémon given how in depth it is in bringing all Pokémon games together in one giant interconnected game using anything that you want to battle with other players.

Champions looks neat. I'm still wondering if there's a catch? Or if it really is a modern F2P version of Stadium?

Thinking through other F2P games that were on both Switch and mobile, they did a nice job with Quest and it was very f2p friendly. Maybe this will be too?

Can't wait for Gen 10.

I think this is one of the better starter trios. I think I'll go with Browt for now. But that could change depending on final evolutions. Final evolutions always matter more.

2027 release but I'm okay with that. Pokemon fans should be the most understanding and accepting of a game taking longer to release. Let Gamefreak have as much time as they need to make this game look and perform the best it can.

I think I'll pick Browt too, he looked fun

I didn't even know anything was released until I read a post on here. I haven't really been keeping up to date with any game news. So that's not really surprising. I'm usually late to know about something. It looks nice and I like that it's a full world to explore and not closed in like Legends ZA is. I got that for Christmas and I am having fun with it, but I wish there was a bit more traveling and world to it.

I'm not sure what starter I like more, but the bird reminds me of angry birds. Sorry I just can't not see it. I like the region they're focusing on and it would be really fun if they worked it in that we could play and view under the water like the video shows. I know that's mostly 'not actual gameplay' but it would be fun to be able to dive and see under the sea. It was a few years ago, but I loved snorkeling through the coral reefs when I last went on vacation.

My predictions:
  • (The big news) Pokemon Champions release date
  • Legends ZA Home support
  • Special event distribution Pokemon for Legends ZA (and possibly SV)
  • Various mobile game updates
  • A new Pokemon game we don't know about (less likely)
  • Gen 10 news very unlikely but not impossible
Well I called some of it lol. I almost missed the ZA Home support being briefly mentioned, was there a release date? Anyway this has got me even more excited for Pokemon Champions. Wondering how the 'link' to Home works. Hopefully it can use copies of Pokemon you have stored in Home rather than having to do a one way transfer of your best pokemon. From what I can tell the gen 10 games will likely be Switch 2 exclusive? Disappointing but still not enough to convince me to get a Switch 2 right away.
