Who else willing takes the time to breed for their ideal Pokemon?
Or you may be like me and just breed Pokemon for the fun of it to trade to others.

I've gotten into IV breeding in Pokemon X since the Battle Maison has made my typical "be double everyone else's level" strategy useless, I'm fairly decent at it when my luck is good. I once tried to breed a 6iv adamant male spinda to cover the field and human-like egg groups but I got four 6iv females before I gave up. It doesn't matter now because I have a 6iv adamant male eevee and abra so the egg groups are covered but it feels like my game was trolling me there.
Oddly enough breeding for my "ideal Pokemon" is often a bit contrary. I like ice/fire/ice punch egg moves so I often have gengars and abras bred for attack rather than special attack which would suit them better, part of the reason I have that 6iv adamant abra. My gengar is tough despite the contrary breeding method, he has explosion too so when he's done for there is one last ditch chance to win, even if it means a draw. The only opponent to ever beat my gengar in the Battle Maison was a quagsire, a ground/water type with the Damp ability means three of the four moves are useless. There are about ten water/ground types but it's always Quagsires that get me.
