Up to your really. I like Charizard the best, so I would choose Charmander, but its up to you which you like best.

I'm mainly cut between Charmander and Squirtle.

Charmander because he's firetype which is awesome and can eventually learn fly.

Squirtle because he becomes a tank and his final evo. is kickass, also can learn surf.

I think I might go with Squirtle because I can just get another pokemon for flying etc.

Oh and I'm gonna take the time to soft reset for a rare shiny.
