anyway just wanna ask:

> can RV items be sold to another person? like could they be put down on the ground.. because i've browsed the first few pages on the re-tail boards here and no one's really selling RV items

> are there new villagers?? and how could you get them to live in your town?

> what happened to the villager popularity thread in the villager trading boards?

> oh also, what's the current exchange rate for BTB to IGB hahah

thanks to whoever will answer huhu

oh wow, thank you so much!

another question regarding the new villagers: do they work the same way as normal villagers? like you can get them from someone else and if they move out of your town you have to go through the 16 cycle to be able to get them to move in again?

If you mean the villagers from other series(like Splatoon or Monster Hunter), the only way to get them from another town is to go to their RV and be like "Come to my town!" I think you can just scan them back in if they move.
The cards overwrite the 16-cycle to my knowledge. Let's say Gladys leaves me, if I had her card, I could scan her back in and get an original Gladys back. Then she's just as normal. She can also be in boxes for somebody to pick her up.
I'm no animal expert when it comes to the cards, so this is based on what I know(which is from my experince in the Tradong Plaza) :) It could be wrong, or could be right.

as far as village popularity goes i often use this and this both from late last year so that's still pretty relevant in my eyes

Regarding the “official” popularity list that used to be stickied: I think the person who made it stopped using the forum so it stopped getting updated. So now ppl just make new ones every so often

The way new villagers works is kind of confusing, but I think I've got it worked out. Ok, so there are 64 new villagers, and all of them can be put into 1 out of 2 groups: the WA villagers and the...well, I'll just call them the "guest star" villagers, cause I can't think of a better name and don't know what else to call them, lol sorry. :D

Anyway, the WA villagers: these guys make up the 50 cards in the 5th AC amiibo card series. They're all villagers that appeared in past AC games but were cut out of New Leaf for some reason. With these guys you can use their cards to call their RV's and buy their stuff for 3 coupons each item. You can also ask them to live in your town when they're in your RV camp too. And they can move from town to town with no problems. So if you don't have their cards, but your friend does, your friend can invite them into their town, and then put them in boxes, and then you can go over and invite them over to live in your town. But you can't go to your friends campsite and ask them to move in. You can only visit them in your friend's RV camp, and buy stuff from their RV with your coupons, and it cost more per item, like 5 coupons. You can only ask them to move in directly from the RV campsite if you have their card yourself, but if your friend puts them in boxes, they will move to your town if you ask them.

"guest star" villagers: These are villagers that are from other series that are outside of Animal Crossing, such as Splatoon, Zelda, Hello Kitty, etc. There are 14 of them. They can do everything the WA villagers can do, except move from town to town. In order to have them live in your town, you must own their card or amiibo figure yourself. Even if your friend put them in boxes, they'll never agree to move to your town. Other than that, everything else about the WA villagers applies to them too.

Neither the WA or the "guest star" villagers will ever appear randomly in your game. They'll never show up at the regular camping tent or be randomly generated to move in or even show up with street pass. Someone has to use their card in order for them to show up.

Both sets of villagers, as well as the amiibo cards in the other series overwrite the 16 villager cycle. So if someone moves out, as long as you have their card, you can move them right back in.

Hope that helps. :)
