Plot setting?!

I know there's a way to choose where you want you villagers to be located.
I just received Julian from someone and I want to be sure his house goes in a good place, though i have run into a small problem, How do I switch the day If I cant change the day on a main character? I know I have to use a new character and reset until I find a good spot for him but before that I don't understand how I GET to that next day..


Halp? I really don't want him to move into as bad of a spot as a lot of my other villagers

Just TT forwards a day and start your game with a new player and do the reset trick
Or simply wait until tomorrow and be sure to start your game with a new character...

set the clock with your mayor for the next day at 558 am. save & quit. wait a few minutes then start a new character to do the plot resetting.

I ran into problems with this before. To be extra careful what I do is TT in game to 11:59 pm, then once it hits 12:00 am I sign off and change the time to 5:58am. Then I sign out before 6am and create a new character. Once I went from 4pm to 5:58 am and the plot was already there. Weird game lol
