Plot Resetting

Can anyone help me with plot resetting?

I just got Maple from my friend and I don't want her house to be in a really bad spot!

Also, How do I set the time to something if I cannot load up my main character already?
Do I change my system time?

You can change the system time one day forward and your game will go one day forward as well!

Sorry, in the description of the video it says:
"*** IMPORTANT ***
This can ONLY be done if you use a new character for the first time EACH DAY. You cannot load up an existing character first"

So if I can't do that , should I just change my system time instead of just within the game?

I think she means because she got maple today, and wants to plot reset her right now but doesn't want to wait until tomorrow. Aka she needs the time to go forward a day, but she can't use an existing character for that~

I dunno, I am assuming that Maple will arrive tomorrow so just don't log onto your main, make a new character instead and do as the vid says

Exactly, because I need to use my main character to change the time to the next day, it will mean that I can't plot reset.

I've done it loads of times, don't worry, it won't. Good luck on plot resetting, it takes a lot of patience ;u;
