So as some of you may have saw im plot resetting almost all my villagers in magnolia. So fair Clyde, Freya, and Teddy are in permanent spots. I tried to get Puddles in and she went RIGHT behind the spot I intended for her and I just saved it and dealt with it because I didn't realized I could TT back a day and save the day. But I've just spent 2 hours plot resetting Gayle filling up my whole town with paths. And on my very first try she moved in the perfect spot! There are so many posts about horrible plot resetting disasters but have you ever had a villager move in exactly where you wanted to first time? Or at least not 5 hours into plot resetting? If so who was the amazing villager? c:

i got o'hare a little while ago, and he literally moved everywhere except where i wanted him to go.

i got so frustrated that i took a break for the night, and in the morning, he plotted exactly where i wanted on the first try c:

i found taking breaks help from becoming too frustrated or overwhelmed, at least for me, anyways

I tried the pattern thing yesterday and I got the perfect place on my first try.

Muffy is my dreamie and when I went to plot reset her, instead of putting 5:58 am next day , I clicked 5:58 pm the next day. I was about To cry honestly...but she miraculously plot setted right where I wanted her to! I was so happy.

Could you explain what you mean by TTing backwards to save the day? I haven't heard of this technique and it could be useful. :)
Well, If you are plot resetting and you realize you missed a spot of patterns, you can time travel back one day and place patterns down (as long as no one was already plotted in that spot) and then you can time travel forward and start plot resetting again!

yess this is correct, but important tip: you have to change the time with your 3ds settings, not isabelle, because if you change it with isabelle, it will count as one day. the 3ds settings safely let you go back to before the plot appeared
