Plot Resetting Query [regarding time]

Alright, so Octavian is moving in today and I'm resetting for that perfect spot.

Surprise, surprise, it's taking forever. I'm at work and the next few hours are my busy period. I won't be finished until around midnight.

My question is; at midnight will Octavians house be set in stone? Or do I have until 6am?

I know it's 6am for most things, but I want to make sure because I'd rather have him in an okay spot than just wherever. Whereas if I have until 6am, I can continue to plot reset when I get home.

you have all the time you need unless you start the game on a pre-existing character. so it doesn't matter if you continue resetting to the next day as long as you create a new character.

It's 6 AM for houses too but like wintersoldier said, if you keep creating a new character, you have all the time you need.

Thanks, I figured but just wasn't 100% sure for plot resetting. He finally found a decent spot so it didn't matter anyways (it's almost midnight here), but good to know for the future. c:

The only thing to be wary of is if you take too long you might run the risk of someone else boxing up if you're plotting a tenth villager. I set the ds clock back a couple days when resetting for a certain villager because I was on day 4 or 5 of resetting. I think that's how it works at least... I know as long as you don't load your mayor or an alt you can plot reset for days.
