Plot resetting is evil

I've been plot resetting for like an hour and Roald just keeps putting his house in the same spot just 1-2 spaces left or up and it's driving me crazy D:

How are your plot resetting experiences like? Do you get lucky or do you spend endless hours putting their house in the idea spot?

lol.... I hate it

I had to plot reset Zucker for a literal day, he kept dropping his plot on bushes I wanted him to go into a HUGE BLANK CORNER OF MY TOWN but he went to the same cramped spot over and over again... finally I let him go into a big spot I was saving for a zen garden, but like I will make it work

otherwise it takes like an hour normally for me

I just want Roald to move beside Merengue. I have the left side of my town dedicated to everyones house so I can landscape the rest of my towN BUT NO, ROALD KEEPS GOING BELOW MY HOUSE OR IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER WHERE MY CAMPSITE/FOREST IS

I hate it...and I'm so glad I'm done with it. Stitches broke me with resetting; he refused to go in one of the spaces I NEEDED HIM TO GO INTO, and he kept plotting nine spaces behind Hamphrey...and that was the only time he plotted in alignment with the others.

I'm really hoping in the next AC game, providing we are still mayor, we can choose where to place their houses...kind of like in HHD. Oh, please let that game be a precursor of things to come in this series...
