Plot Resetting help?

I've been trying to plot reset for kid cat since early this evening, and now for some reason, whatever I do he will not move from my campsite area. I can't let him move in there since it's directly in the middle. Am I doing something wrong?

I choose a different face every time, I've even set my ds clock a day ahead and he literally will not stop plotting in my campsite area.

If you keep restarting with a new character he should eventually move. Sometimes it takes a few tries before they decide to move their plot to a different location. As long as you havent started your game as your mayor then the plot isnt permanently set there.

I've done that so many times, and it seems like he won't move at all every time i make a new char. q~q

Have you started your game with a current character like your mayor or a side character?

Are you saying he keeps going to the same general area? Or the same 3x3 square?

nope. i make a new char each time.

at first it was the same general area, but now it's the same 3x3 square.

Im not sure what to say other than to just keep going! This has happened to me before in the past as well, and eventually the villager I was trying to plot moved their plot to a different area.

Have you tried turning your ds off entirely to try and break that pattern? I heard it's supposed to help.

he moved like one square over... then he just moved back. holy hell i know how my friend felt when she tried to plot zell.

Not 100% sure if you can change the clock on your ds back 1 day and place a PWP in the general area he keeps on trying to move to, but keep this in mind next time you plot reset and add pwps to everywhere you don't want them to plot

No you can't do that they will still be plotting in your town

I second this idea xD I was gonna suggest turning off your 3DS system completely then turn back on and try again. I also read it's supposed to generate a new pattern of where plots will appear when you shut down the system and restart.. just remember not to load on any of the existing characters & you will be fine.. hope you get lucky soon! c:

No you can't do that they will still be plotting in your town

yes you can?? if you're on the day you asked the villager to move in then they won't move in until the next day.

He finally moved in to the spot I wanted him to. Just was really frustrating because he would gtfo of that one spot.
