Plot resetting...dread of dreads.

I haven't played ACNL normally for about a month, because I have to plot reset for Marshal and I HATE IT. I try about once a week but it's so boring.... WHY CANT WE JUST CHOOSE WHERE THEY LIVE NINTENDO ;-;
What makes it worse is that i have ONE SPECIFIC 3X3 SPOT i want him in... and plot resetting can cause c-o-r-r-u-p-t-i-o-n...

Whats the longest it's taken you to plot reset? Any tips or tricks to make it easier? Any motivation for people like me? ;-;

when i was resetting a while ago, it must have taken 60 tries. a tip though is to put some random PWP (like the streetlight) in places where you dont want anyone while resetting, and it takes much less time. you can delete them later of course when you get your dreamies.

Don't worry I'm plot resetting for Jaques and its in a 3x3 spot too a good tip is to shut off your 3ds and it'll reset the plotting hopefully both of us can get them to plot succesfully !

it can i didnt know that the longest i plot resetted was 4 or 5hrs long

IM AM SO MAD OMFG I WAS PLOT RESETTING FOR EUNICE AND I ACCIDENTALLY STARTED UP MY MAIN CHARACTER ASDDSAGFDHADHFAHRHDHFD SHE'S IN THE WORST SPOT POSSIBLE I JUST cannot anymore adios goodbye
