Plot resetting and the virtue of patience

It took me a few days to put Coco in a good spot. I try to not stress over it, and do any stuff I wanna do (any landscaping or interior design idea I had) before plot resetting, otherwise I get really impatient.
Deep breaths, find a relaxing playlist and have a big glass/jug of water with you (getting dehydrated will make you sleepy and cranky and it will make you never want to plot reset ever again, I'm serious)
Be in a comfortable spot, and don't do this on your bed (you'll start laying down and getting sleepy and it'll hurt your neck).
When you start to get really bored/sleepy, take a good break, stretch, go do some housework or play something else. Then come back later when you feel reenergized.
Also great to do while commuting/class breaks, but remember to BE FOCUSED. Last time I distracted myself I opened up with my mayor by accident (constantly pressing A while talking with my sister) and Erik placed his plot on the wrong spot. I worked with it but was pretty frustrated lol (I had THE PERFECT SPOT for him), so if something comes up, just close the 3DS. This is not something to do while multitasking, since it's boring and very easy to lose track of (and then end up opening with your mayor)
