I've been plot resetting for ~2 hours and I have no luck trying to get the plot into the designated place :/

Here is where I need to plot the villager:
zlCfzTG8-UsOkveRoJ

The house needs to be inside of the blue/white roses.

I am pretty sure that I can plot there, since Chrissy is on the opposite side with a one space gap between her house and the cliff. I'm just a bit paranoid concerning that the closest the plot has ever landed was one row on the blue rose behind the New Save File's character.

I've been plot resetting Marshal for several hours a day for the past several days and this is the closest he's gotten to where I want him:
Really, Marshal.jpg
Too far forward. :/ He's only plotted there once though. I know that spot is possible!

Have you tried completely turning off your ds and restarting up the game? I've been told that it recycles through the available spots for plot resetting.

I've tried it a few times myself when I get villagers that just keep putting there plots in the same spot and it seems to help a little. They normally end up picking different areas of the map afterwards. It's worth a shot if you haven't tried it yet. :) I hope you can get that spot soon!

Yup, done that as well >_<
I exit the ACNL game then turn it off though. Not sure if turning it off straight away with the software in use would result in a corruption.

I power down from the ACNL main menu from time to time. It closes the software when it goes to the screen telling you to leave your 3DS in sleep mode instead, so I don't think it would corrupt your data. Please don't kill me if something does happen though.

That should sound safe but I'm still a bit worried ;w;
I've already had 3 dreams where my ACNL save gets corrupted so

Oh, I'm sorry lol, I did mean exit the game and then turn off your ds! Sorry about that. ><

Dang, that really blows though that nothing's helping. =\ If you can't get that spot though I hope you're able to get it somewhere else that is still decentl. Looking more closely at the photo I'm not entirely too sure if a plot can end up that close to the river edge or not, I've never had one in an area like that before yet. It looks possible to me though, so maybe the game is just being stubborn. ><

I'm glad I'm not the only one LOL, I've had multiple dreams where my town was changed in some way. Either the town layout was all messed up and my villagers were different, or my save corrupted - once I even had a dream where massive Tom Nook clones moved in all over my village. 0.o

Hopefully they'll plot in the right spot soon. :) Which villager are you plotting?

I've read that there needs to be a minimum of one space from a cliff/river so I'm guessing that it should work. And Chrissy's house is one space apart from the cliff as well.

I'll see if I can get the plot into the right place for another hour or so then I'll see if there are any alternatives >_<

toM NOOK CLONES IM CRYING XDD

Francine, my final Dreamie. I was hoping that her house will be directly opposite to Chrissy's so that's kinda why I got her last and the reason I'd like her to ideally plot on the opposite side of Chrissy's hosue

That would be cool if you could get them to plot opposite of each other! I think you have enough space (I was under the impression that a villager needed a 5 x 5 space + one extra space in front of the door).

Nothing seems wrong with that space. You've been doing everything right so far too. Plus, it's only been a few hours so just keep at it. I mean people have gone days/weeks before villagers plotted right where they wanted so it'll take a bit of time and patience. I've taken nearly 3 days to plot reset Cousteau so don't worry about it. It's especially hard too to aim for a specific 3x3 space so it'll take a while.
